“Ground for Disquiet” is a responsive environment that investigates how spatial and architectonic cues enable the mind to organize the visual field and orient the body within space. A false floor was constructed to pivot in response to the viewer’s presence and movement, destabilizing the traditional gallery space as a mode of representation.
